Luc Bachand

Luc is the former Head of BMO Capital Markets for Quebec at Bank of Montreal. He served as Vice-Chairman of Harris Nesbitt Corp and BMO Capital Markets. Luc’s career at BMO Financial Group spanned more than 23 years, including the 18 years with BMO Nesbitt Burns where he led BMO’s Investment and Corporate Banking Services in Montreal for over ten years. Luc has served as President of the Investment Dealers Association (Quebec Section) and is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada, the École des Hautes Études Commerciales, the Mental Illness Foundation, the Institute of Corporate Directors – Québec Chapter, and the J. Armand Bombardier Foundation. He is also a Trustee of Cominar REIT since and has served as a Director of the Montreal Exchange Group, the Investment Dealers Association (Québec Section) and the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec.
