Guillaume Marion

Guillaume is Partner & Chief Operating Officer of Diagram.

Prior to joining Diagram in early 2017, he worked in HSBC's UK investment banking division, focusing on its financial institutions group. Previously, he was based in Germany as CFO of a portfolio company of Rocket Internet, a leading global incubator of tech startups. Prior to moving abroad in 2012, he was an investment professional at PSP Investments, one of Canada’s leading pension funds, where he worked in both its private equity and public markets groups. Guillaume started his career in 2006 at Genuity Capital Markets, in mergers and acquisitions advisory.

Guillaume is a board member of the Montreal Economic Institute, the Opéra de Montréal, and the Mount Royal Club and he is a member of the C.D. Howe Institute, C100, Banff Forum, and Civitas Canada. Guillaume has a BBA from HEC Montreal and he is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst. Additionally, he holds an MSc from London Business School, where he graduated with an Outstanding Leadership Award.
